RV College of Nursing celebrated nurses day by highlighting its significance to all the nursing fraternity gathered on the occasion.
Dr.S.R.Gajendra Singh, Principal, RV College of Nursing, welcomed the august gathering. The guest of honour, Sri. M.R. Ravi Kumar, IAS, Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru addressed the gathering as modern nightingales and Sri. Ivan Nigli, former MLA and Chairman of Florence Nightingale Awards, Bengaluru spoke on the dedication of the nurses especially during COVID pandemic.
On this occasion, nurses were awarded for their contribution in the area of nursing education and services which has inspired others to become emerging leaders. The awardees were Prof. B.G. Kulkarni, Mrs.Rangamma, Mrs.Arockia Mary Antony, Mr.Hemegowda Rudrappa (Italy), Shri.P.M.Seetharamaiah and Dr.K.Ramu.
The program concluded with National Anthem.
