Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly political decision in 2023, senior IPS official B Bhaskar Rao, who as of late left help, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in New Delhi on Monday (April 4).
B Bhaskar Rao joined the party within the sight of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal.
The Karnataka government has acknowledged the abdication of Rao, who up to this point filled in as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Railways.
Rao, who had recently filled in as Bengaluru city police official, had presented his abdication to the state government in September 2021.
A local of Bengaluru, Rao has joined AAP as the party plans to challenge and make its presence felt in the state, during Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and 2023 get together surveys.
